For the first time since 2004, the Indiana and Purdue track and field programs will meet head to head in a dual meet. The meet is set for a 2 p.m. ET start on Jan. 16 at Gladstein Fieldhouse. It marks the renewal of the series, which will alternate between the two Indiana campuses.

The meet will feature the old dual meet scoring system, in which first place earns five points, second merits three and third gets one. In relays, only the winner scores and teams can score up to the full nine points per event.

The meet will feature the Big Ten's two best men's high jumpers on the season in Derek Drouin and Adetayo Adesanya as well as the conference's two best females in the shot put, Faith Sherrill and Stacey Wannemacher.
