Michele Maciejewski lives in Marcellus, NY, a small village southwest of Syracuse. Michele works at Fleet Feet Syracuse, and also is a part time marketing assistant at the Onondaga County Bar Association. Michele’s daughter was born in November of 2013 while she was attending school. The challenges of balancing work, school, and being a new mother led her to make a promise to herself that she would put her daughter first, but also be sure to take care of herself. Within six months of giving birth to her daughter, she ran her first trail marathon, and has since raced several ultra-marathons and road races at various distances, and has also won a marathon.
